Job summary

SES Infrastructure Services LLC is seeking a Painter / Blaster to join our coatings team in Texas. The role involves surface prep and applying protective coatings to structural steel, tanks, and equipment using blasting and painting methods.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial blasting/painting, familiarity with SSPC/NACE standards, and safety training certifications. This full-time, on-site position offers a solid benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial blasting and painting.
• Paint Certifications such as NACE or AMPP are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE) is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain blasting and spray equipment.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
• Safety training certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform abrasive blasting to clean and prepare surfaces according to required specifications.
• Apply industrial coatings (epoxy, polyurethane, high solids) using spray, brush, and roller methods.
• Set up, operate, and maintain spray equipment (conventional, airless, plural component).
• Read and follow TSDS, work orders, and safety instructions.
• Ensure coating thickness, coverage, and adhesion meet standards.
• Inspect surface conditions prior to coating application.
• Work safely at heights and on scaffolding as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
