Qualifications

• 2-4 years vocational training or 6+ years maintenance experience
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Electrical certification is REQUIRED
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, blueprints, memos
• Maintenance troubleshooting experience with production equipment

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots all manual and CNC equipment to identify problems and perform repairs
• Performs preventative maintenance on all production equipment as specified in work orders
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
• Work with voltage of 240v-480v and diagnose motor controls on 3-phase equipment
• Read schematics and implement control changes for refurbishments
• Repair equipment by replacing defective parts and testing repairs
• Identify parts needed for repair and obtain quotes
• Relocate machinery as needed within the plant
• Lead or coordinate with contractors and junior staff during maintenance projects
• Assist in other maintenance areas as needed
