Job summary

Lamb Weston, Inc. in Richland, WA is hiring a Cleaning Associate to maintain sanitary conditions in lunchrooms, restrooms, hallways and offices.

You will follow established cleaning procedures, use chemicals safely and perform basic window washing and waste handling to keep facilities clean. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and sanitation/forklift certifications, with English communication proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.
• Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral).
• Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms including floors, stalls, urinals and toilets, sinks, fixtures and walls.
• Stocks restrooms with paper products and soap.
• Sweeps, mops and waxes hallways and cafeteria as required.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary lunchroom thorough cleaning of tables, counters, floors and walls; empty garbage cans and change liners.
• Wash windows and doors.
• Basic cleaning of Warehouse offices and Break room, Maintenance, Personnel and Supervisors offices.
• Proper use of Safety signs and Barricades.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals usage and technique
• Other duties as assigned
