• Title: Industrial Cleaning Technician

• Location: Fort Dodge, IA

• Salary: Up to $22.50/hour

• Hours: 7am - 3:30pm

What Will I Be Doing?

Daily responsibilities include:

• Working in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to safety protocols such as PJHA, Observation process, and safety guidelines.

• Sanitation and cleaning of assigned areas according to schedules and procedures, including washing, shoveling, vacuuming, and sweeping.

• Assisting in developing sanitation standards and providing feedback on service discrepancies.

• Operating equipment such as skid steer loaders, scissors lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and hand/power tools.

• Communicating effectively with team leads, supervisors, and customers.

• Maintaining schedule adherence and working overtime as needed.

• Working from elevated areas with fall protection when required.

• Reporting unresolved issues and employee concerns to supervisors.

• Working all shifts, including holidays and weekends as required.

• Performing other duties as assigned by the company or customer.

• Cleaning process screens with caustic cleaners daily.

• Ensuring compliance with all safety and operational policies.

• Achieving performance expectations and participating in employee development.

• Engaging in communication and planning to support company goals.

• Meeting physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working in various environments, and operating equipment safely.

• Maintaining positive relations with customers and employees.

What Makes Me Qualified?

• Experience: 2 years in industrial cleaning preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

Must meet physical requirements such as close detail observation, control precision, manual dexterity, lifting, movement, climbing, operating tools and equipment, and wearing respirators.

Work Environment

Exposure to mechanical parts, heights, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, extreme temperatures, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations are available for disabilities.
