Job summary

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking multiple Industrial Cleaners to join our team at the GM Wentzville Assembly Facility in Wentzville, MO. These positions focus on cleaning and sweeping the facility floor to maintain a safe, organized work area.

Shifts are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with schedules: 1st 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., 2nd 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., 3rd 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. These roles are part-time on-call as needed, with union seniority affecting scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for long periods of time and reach within 6” to the ground.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs without difficulty.
• Ability to lift, carrying and pulling equipment of various size, shape, and weight.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sweeps/ cleans buildings floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
• Uses solvents and high pressure water blasters up to 40,000 psi to clean areas.
• Performs minor maintenance and cleans walls, hoses, windows, grates, lights, robots, etc.
• Operates lock out/tag out procedures for safe entry into energized areas of the paint shop.
• Performs confined space entry procedures for safe entry and cleaning in confined spaces.
• Performs general janitorial tasks for office and restroom areas.
• Completes other specialized paint booth cleaning jobs as required.
