Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Industrial Janitor in Atlanta, GA to provide cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area for an industrial facility. This is a full-time position. The 2nd Shift is Monday - Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

The role involves cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. Qualifications include a HS Diploma or GED and 1+ years of cleaning experience; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred.
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures (SDS, OSHA).
• Ability to obtain a security access badge at the client location.
• Ability to work an alternative schedule including weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization. US citizenship or permanent residency required for credentials at this location.
• May require a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties such as floors, rugs, walls, glass, and trash removal.
• Notifies managers about repairs or additions to building systems.
• Communicates with clients, coworkers, shift coordinators, and managers.
• Complies with safety, security, and quality standards.
