Job summary

Amentum is hiring an Industrial Janitor in Grapevine, TX to clean and maintain an industrial facility. This full-time role offers 1st/2nd/3rd shift options with varying schedules based on business needs.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, trash removal, restroom servicing, and signaling repairs as needed while complying with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience and can obtain necessary credentials.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience in industrial or commercial cleaning.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility/security credentials/authorization. Note: US citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
• May require a valid driver's license issued by the DMV.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Complies with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
• Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming; follows chemical usage procedures.
• Utilizes ladders, dusts furniture, walls, blinds, furniture and equipment; cleans ceilings and vents.
