Job Description

Job Function: This position is responsible for operating tools and equipment at various customer sites to provide industrial and environmental cleaning services.

Essential Functions

1. Strictly adhere to MPW Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
2. Arrive at the branch or job site on time, in uniform, properly groomed, mentally alert, and physically able to work. Follow the branch process for scheduling.
3. Set up the job site, including water blast hoses, vacuum hoses, barricade tape, and tags.
4. Operate equipment such as water blast guns, water lances, dry and wet vacuum hoses (6” and 8”), shovels, picks, automated tooling, aerial platform lifts, and other necessary equipment.
5. Clean equipment before returning it to the MPW branch.
6. Show initiative in executing assigned tasks.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

1. Maintain a valid ID for access to customer sites.
2. Preferably have exposure to equipment or maintenance environments.
3. Experience performing manual labor outdoors.
4. Preferred 2-3 years of hands-on experience with tools or heavy equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Ability to perform manual labor consistently.
• Maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
• Position oneself for work in confined spaces.
• Wear respirators in environments with chemicals or fumes.
• Willingness to travel to various states for days or weeks, with shifts possibly exceeding 8 hours.
