Job summary
Covestro in Baytown, TX seeks a Project Manager and Industrial Cleaning Expert to lead all cleaning activities at the Baytown plant, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets. You will manage a large team of contractors and drive efficiency through automation and technology.
You will develop standardized methodologies for hydroblasting, train teams on new tech, and coordinate with planners to refine scopes and estimates while delivering continuous improvements across operations.
Qualifications
- Industrial cleaning experience required.
- Experience leading contractors in a plant setting.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, cost and scheduling targets.
Responsibilities
- Lead day to day management for contractors involved in industrial cleaning.
- Develop standard methodologies for repetitive hydroblasting jobs.
- Lead training to implement new technologies and automation.
- Collaborate with cleaning partners to develop automation where it does not exist.
- Coordinate scope development and estimate job durations.
- Review planned vs. actual hours to identify improvements.
- Serve as site SME in industrial cleaning and automation tech.
- Develop communication processes for job progress.
