Job summary

Peoplemark is seeking an Industrial Cleaner for the Pendleton, SC area on a weekend shift (Sat & Sun, 10:00 am - 10:00 pm). The role pays $14.00 per hour and focuses on maintaining hygiene, safety and cleanliness in an industrial setting to support production efficiency.

Responsibilities include cleaning tanks, ducts, machinery and floors; operating pressure washers and floor scrubbers; handling solvents and degreasers; and following PPE, dress code, and safety procedures throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must meet physical requirements: standing, walking, bending, and climbing for the shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE for the entire shift.
• Adhere to dress code and comply with site access policies.

Responsibilities

• Tank and pit cleaning, duct cleaning, and degreasing.
• Operate pressure washing equipment and floor scrubbers.
• Clean large machinery and remove grease from equipment.
• Clean processing tanks, scrub rooms, restrooms, and conveyors.
• Transport trash to disposal areas and maintain facility fixtures.
• Handle chemicals, solvents, degreasers and disinfectants daily.

Industrial Cleaner- Weekend Shift

$14.00/Hour

Weekend Shift- Sat & Sun 10:00 am - 10:00pm

Job Overview:

Play a pivotal role in maintaining the hygiene, safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Tank cleaning and pit cleaning
• Duct cleaning
• Operation of commercial pressure washing equipment
• Deep cleaning and degreasing
• Cleaning large machinery
• Removing grease from equipment
• Collecting reusable scrap for salvage and proper storage
• Cleaning common areas (rooms, hallways, restrooms, etc.)
• Polishing metalwork and removing dust, lint, oil, and grease from machinery and conveyors
• Scrubbing processing tanks and vats
• Transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areas
• Cleaning screens and filters, operating floor scrubbers, and maintaining facility fixtures.
• Perform heavy duty cleaning on machinery as needed.
• Use a wide range of chemicals including solvents, detergents, degreasers and disinfectants on a daily basis.
• Cleaning heavy duty grime, oil, grease and other contaminants typically found in production and machining processes.
• Operating special high powered cleaning equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Background Check and Drug Screen required.

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job including standing, walking, bending, & climbing for the entirety of the shift.

Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

Safely work with a wide variety of cleaning chemicals.

Be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, earplugs and steel toe or composite toe shoes for the entirety of the shift.

Adhere to dress code, including no sleeveless shirts or shorts.

Comply with company random searches on the premises.
