Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform tank and pit cleaning.
• Clean ducts and ventilation systems.
• Operate commercial pressure washing equipment.
• Deep clean and degrease machinery and work areas.
• Clean large industrial equipment and machinery.
• Remove grease, oil, dust, lint and other contaminants.
• Collect reusable scrap materials for salvage and storage.
• Clean hallways, break rooms and restrooms.
• Polish metal surfaces and maintain cleanliness.
• Scrub processing tanks and vats.
• Transport trash to disposal areas.
• Clean screens, filters and fixtures.
• Operate floor scrubbers and other cleaning equipment.
• Use solvents, detergents, and degreasers safely.

Industrial Cleaner - Weekend 1st Shift

Location: Sumter, SC

Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour

Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Industrial Cleaner to play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency within a manufacturing environment. This position involves heavy-duty industrial cleaning, operating specialized cleaning equipment, and ensuring production areas remain clean and safe.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform tank and pit cleaning
• Clean ducts and ventilation systems
• Operate commercial pressure washing equipment
• Conduct deep cleaning and degreasing of machinery and work areas
• Clean large industrial equipment and machinery
• Remove grease, oil, dust, lint, and other contaminants from equipment and conveyors
• Collect reusable scrap materials for salvage and proper storage
• Clean common areas including hallways, break rooms, and restrooms
• Polish metal surfaces and maintain facility cleanliness
• Scrub processing tanks and vats
• Transport trash and waste to designated disposal areas
• Clean screens, filters, and facility fixtures
• Operate floor scrubbers and other specialized cleaning equipment
• Safely use solvents, detergents, degreasers, disinfectants, and other cleaning chemicals
• Perform heavy-duty cleaning on machinery as needed
• Complete additional duties as assigned

• Must adhere to company dress code (no sleeveless shirts or shorts)
• Must comply with company random searches conducted on the premises
