Job summary

The Budd Group in Greensboro, NC is hiring a Utility Tech to keep our manufacturing facility clean, safe, and running smoothly. You will operate a forklift and other equipment, contain spills, scrub aisles, and support daily plant operations.

This full-time on-site role pays $15.50 per hour, with Monday–Friday hours 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. We offer benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Match, and HSA/FSA, plus perks like Pay on Demand, referral bonuses, and free online classes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of janitorial, utility, or industrial facility experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively.
• Forklift/equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and/or tugger to empty hoppers and maintain the pallet yard.
• Contain and clean up spills, plus sweeping and scrubbing plant aisles.
• Monitor recycle trailer drop-offs/pick-ups and clean around waste pre-crusher and cardboard compactor.
• Clear debris from storm drains, pallet yards, fence lines, and cleaning conveyor and trim pits.
