Job summary

IFF is seeking an Industrial Cleaner in Hazlet, NJ, on the Midnight Shift (6:00 pm to 2:20 am). You will maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in production areas, warehouses, and facilities, cleaning machinery and workspaces while following safety regulations and company procedures.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment (pressure washers, floor scrubbers, vacuums), disposing of waste per guidelines, and reporting safety or equipment issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production areas, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and floor scrubbers.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous materials according to guidelines.

An Industrial Cleaner you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in industrial facilities, warehouses, manufacturing plants, and production areas. This role involves cleaning machinery, equipment, workspaces, and other facility areas while following safety regulations and company procedures. This position is located in Hazlet, NJ - USA and is for the MIDNIGHT SHIFT ( 6:00 pm to 2:20 am)

Where You’ll Make a Differenc e

• Clean and sanitize production areas, warehouses, and industrial facilities.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other specialized tools.
• Remove dust, debris, grease, and waste materials from machinery and work areas.
• Perform routine cleaning of floors, walls, ceilings, equipment, and restrooms.
• Dispose of trash and hazardous materials according to company and regulatory guidelines.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with facility shutdown cleaning and deep-cleaning projects as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
