Job summary

American Woodmark in Toccoa, GA is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the Maintenance team. The role focuses on maintaining clean and safe factory conditions, following housekeeping standards, and supporting preventative maintenance tasks.

The ideal candidate will have reading and writing ability, basic computer skills, and 1–3 years of manufacturing experience. This hourly position requires good attendance and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate cleaning equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read and write.
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Follow housekeeping standards to keep the plant clean and safe.
• Run the sweeper daily and participate in preventative maintenance cleaning tasks.
• Assist maintenance with cleaning as needed in the preventive maintenance program.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor or plant leadership team.
