Job summary

The Budd Group is hiring an Industrial Cleaner at our Cleveland, NC site. You will keep an Automotive Assembly Plant safe, clean, and operating smoothly on a full-time schedule: Thursday & Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM and Saturday & Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.

You must lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate a 5K pressure washer, with safety training completed. Pay is $20/hr plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Must complete safety training (Ladder, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout).
• Excellent attendance record required.

Responsibilities

• Clean Paint Booth Stations and surrounding areas using approved chemicals and high-pressure washers (5K).
• Scrape windows, wipe down walls, replace ceiling filters, and apply protective plastic or aluminum foil in booth areas.
• Lift metal flooring grates, clean beneath them, and clear out oven and flood sheet areas.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance like changing robot covers and grease applications.
• Safely climb ladders and navigate confined spaces during heavy-duty cleaning routines.
