Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Cleaning Tech to join our Durham, NC team. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage and weekly pay, with a 4-day on / 3-day off schedule and flexible shifts to cover days and nights.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and offices in an industrial/warehouse setting, maintaining equipment, restocking supplies, and following safety protocols. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean flooring surfaces in industrial/warehouse setting (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing)
• Sanitize restrooms (sinks, toilets, urinals, floors)
• Dust/wipe office furniture, baseboards, windows, blinds
• Clean/disinfect breakrooms (countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables)
• Restock supplies/refill dispensers in restrooms/breakrooms
• Empty trash cans and replace liners
• Label and use cleaning chemicals properly
• Maintain janitorial equipment in safe operable condition
• Operate specialized equipment as needed
• Maintain parking lot
• Removal and maintenance of corrugate
• Prevent losses and report irregularities
• Abide by Sizemore policies and procedures
• Other tasks as required

Position

Industrial Cleaning Tech – Durham, NC.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $15.50/hr. (we offer weekly pay!)

Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday 6:30am-6:30pm; Wednesday 6:30am-12:30pm, 6:30pm-12:30am; Thursday - Saturday 6:30am-6:30pm. 4-day on - 3-day off flexible schedules.

We conduct 7‑year background check and perform a drug test prior to employment. You must be 18years old and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean various flooring surfaces including vacuuming with a push vacuum/backpack vacuum (9‑12lbs.), sweeping, mopping and scrubbing in an industrial/warehouse setting.
• Sanitize restrooms including sinks, toilets, urinals, floors, etc.
• Dust/wipe down office furniture and equipment, baseboards, windows, blinds, etc.
• Clean/disinfect breakrooms including countertops, microwaves, refrigerators, tables, chairs, floors, etc.
• Restock supplies/refill dispensers in restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, etc.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners to fit.
• Ensure proper labeling and use of all cleaning chemicals available.
• Maintains janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Operates specialized equipment as needed.
• Maintaining the parking lot
• Removal and maintenance of all corrugate
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Abide by and enforce Sizemore’s and client’s policies and procedures as needed.
• Other tasks may be assigned as required.

Working Conditions

• May be required to work overtime.
• Work may be inside or outside in various building and weather conditions.
• Extensive walking or standing for extended periods of time.
• Lifting/carrying items generally weighing 50lbs. or less.
• Walking/standing (85-90% of the shift), going up and down stairs, bending, stooping and reaching.
