Job summary

InterChange Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Facility Industrial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness throughout the Mt Crawford facility. The role covers breakrooms, restrooms, docks, and warehouse areas, with attention to GMP and food safety practices.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, perform preventive cleaning, manage supplies, and support safety protocols while liaising with supervisors as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of related warehouse/manufacturing cleaning experience.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work SAFELY with cleaning supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and self-direction.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain breakroom, restroom, and warehouse surfaces.
• Sweep debris from dock areas and freezer areas.
• Clean exterior dock and around the dumpster; respond to spills quickly.
• Wipe down doors, walls and cleaning equipment; mop floors.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Vacuum carpets; wash windows; clean microwaves, refrigerators and vending machines.
• Empty trash; break down boxes and recycle materials.
• Maintain cleaning logs and notify supervisors of repairs or safety concerns.
• Follow PPE, GMP and safety guidelines while using cleaning chemicals.

Compensation 1915 to 2290 per hour

Responsibilities

Warehouse Facility Industrial Cleaner is responsible for general housekeeping including Cleans and keeps up various surfaces and materials within the breakroom restroom and warehouseAssists the Freezer Department with sweeping pallet and product debris from the dock and within the freezerCleans all exterior dock areas and assists with picking up exterior debris around the facility to include around the dumpsterResponds to urgent situations such as warehouse spills that require quick actionAssists with wiping down dock doors and wallsAssists with cleaning the inverterMops floors in the breakroom restrooms and other applicable areasBreaks down cardboard boxes and recycles materials as appropriateVacuums carpets and all interior carpets and rugsWashes windowsCleans and disinfects restrooms including toilets and urinals and cleans in and around all restroom fixturesSweeps and mops restroom floorsWipes down tables countertops sinks water fountains door handles light switches and mirrors as neededWipes down and cleans microwaves refrigerators vending machines and coffee pots including cleaning behind each applianceChecks and replenishes restroom supplies including toilet paper paper towels and soap dispensers as neededEmpties trash throughout the facility including the breakroom and restroomsWork with facility management on ordering cleaning supplies and equipment and maintains an appropriate stock at all timesMaintains cleaning tools and equipment in good working conditionMaintains accurate cleaning log records including completing and signing off on all required daily and weekly cleaning tasksNotifies supervisors or managers of major repairs or maintenance concernsChecks for pest control issues and reports concernsFollows all label instructions and company procedures when using cleaning chemicals including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment PPE and following all safety instructionsFollows all food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices GMP requirements while performing cleaning dutiesAssists with other cleaning duties as assignedMust be able to work independently and communicate issues to supervisors or managers

Required Knowledge Skills & Experience

One 1 year related experience in warehouse or manufacturing environmentPrevious janitorial experience is preferredPrevious forklift experience is preferredAble to lift up to 45 LBS on a regular basisAbility to manage your time efficientlyAble to work safely with a variety of cleaning suppliesAble to use basic cleaning equipmentRequires strong attention to detail and the ability to be self directedSafety oriented and willing to take steps to perform all functions safely utilizing proper personal protective equipment PPE and following proper procedures for the use of tools and other equipmentMust have a valid state issued drivers license
