NEXTAFF is seeking a hardworking Janitor / Office Building Cleaner in Gulfport, MS to maintain a clean and sanitary office environment. You will clean floors, restrooms, and common areas, collect trash, and perform routine janitorial duties with attention to detail and efficiency.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work day shifts (Mon-Thu pattern noted), and weekend availability. Compensation is $18.00 per hour for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or similar cleaning roles preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work day shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the office building.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Clean interior windows, glass doors, and other glass surfaces.
• Empty trash cans, replace liners, and properly dispose of waste.
• Dust and wipe down desks, countertops, furniture, and other surfaces.
• Clean and maintain hallways, breakrooms, entrances, and common areas.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in an organized manner.
• Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Perform additional janitorial and general cleaning duties as assigned.
