Job summary

Nextaff is seeking a reliable Janitor / Office Cleaning Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and professional office environment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Location is in Texas, with a part-time schedule in the evenings or weekends depending on client needs. Pay ranges from $13 to $15 per hour, commensurate with experience, and safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks.
• Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 lbs.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation and driver's license.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, common areas, break rooms, restrooms, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors.
• Dust and wipe desks, tables, countertops and surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling, replace liners.
• Clean windows and glass doors as needed.
• Replenish restroom and office supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap).
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues and safety hazards to supervisor.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, sinks, toilets, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and other surfaces as needed.
• Replenish restroom and office supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, spills, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Perform other general cleaning duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving cleaning supplies and equipment. The employee must be able to perform routine cleaning activities for extended periods.
