Job summary

Economy Linen and Towel Service, Inc. is seeking a second shift Janitor/Industrial Cleaner to perform general cleaning and light maintenance in an industrial facility.

The role requires at least one year of janitorial experience in an industrial setting and the ability to work at heights on forklifts or manlifts. You will clean and sanitize production areas, floors, restrooms, and offices, follow SOPs, safely handle chemicals, and support audits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of previous janitorial experience in an industrial setting.
• Ability to work at heights (on forklift, manlifts, etc.).
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and bend.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize manufacturing and production areas in accordance with company standards and food safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, work surfaces, and equipment surroundings.
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of waste and recyclable materials.
• Clean restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, and offices as assigned.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Safely use and store cleaning chemicals and supplies in compliance with training and labeling requirements.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or sanitation concerns to supervision.
• Support audits and inspections by maintaining a consistently clean facility.
• Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and supervision teams.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, hygiene, attendance, and professionalism.
