Job summary

JM Davidson, Inc is seeking a Civil Journeyman to perform skilled civil construction including concrete placement, form carpentry, rebar, and site work on industrial, commercial, or heavy civil projects.

The ideal candidate will interpret drawings, work with welding and rigging related tasks, and maintain high safety and quality standards. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential for this on-site role.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in civil construction, concrete, carpentry, or reinforcing steel installation.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Own craft tools required.
• Strong safety mindset with PPE knowledge and OSHA basics.
• Willingness to travel and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, align, and dismantle concrete forms for foundations, walls, slabs, columns, and structures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and layout information.
• Place, finish, and cure concrete; perform surface finishing and patching as needed.
• Install and tie reinforcing steel; read rebar placements and schedules.
• Operate hand and power tools safely; assist crane operators and other trades as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and follow all safety policies.
