Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Civil Carpenter for our Lake Charles, LA area team. You will study blueprints to determine material needs, assemble and install formwork and fixtures, erect frameworks and stairs, and finish concrete per drawings.

Safety and PPE are required on site. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–4 years of relevant experience, basic tool knowledge, and NCCER certification may be required at some sites.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment qualification test.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Safety requirements and PPE adherence.
• Clean shaven and appropriate attire as required by client.

Responsibilities

• Study plans to determine material type and dimensions.
• Assemble and install formwork, fixtures, and structures.
• Erect framework, stairs, partitions, and hardware finishes.
• Pour and finish concrete in formwork per drawings.
• Perform tasks per supervisor directions.
