Job summary

Turner Industries Group, LLC is seeking a Civil Carpenter for our Cameron, LA area team. The role involves constructing, erecting, installing, fabricating, and repairing structures, formwork and fixtures per drawings and plans.

Applicants should have basic tool knowledge and up to four years of experience, with NCCER certification potentially required at some sites. Solid safety practices are essential, as is the ability to read blueprints, prepare layouts, and perform tasks across a range of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of relevant carpenter experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• NCCER certification may be required at some sites.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety requirements as required by client (PPE, etc.).
• Applicant must not pose a direct threat to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches or plans for material type and dimensions.
• Prepare layouts, mark cutting lines, and select materials.
• Assemble, fasten materials and erect framework.
• Install sub-flooring, stairs, partitions and cabinetry hardware.
• Construct forms and chutes for concrete and place/finish concrete per drawings.
• Move, load and install formwork as per drawings.
• Follow supervisor's directions for additional tasks.
