Job summary

Ruveon is hiring a Reliability Maintenance Technician for chillers in the United States. The role focuses on safe, reliable operation of industrial chiller systems and requires weekly monitoring, troubleshooting, and coordination with maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, EPA Refrigerant Certification (or ability to obtain), HVAC/refrigeration license, and extensive hands-on experience with shutdown/startup and major repairs. SAP proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with maintenance or chiller operations experience.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• State HVAC/Refrigeration license or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Able to perform highly complex repairs, adjustments, and modifications on plant equipment and systems.
• Demonstrated operational and reliability awareness with the ability to align production and maintenance utilization.
• The ability to perform repairs, adjustments, and modifications that are non-routine and of extensive complexity is a basic expectation in this role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with shutdown/startup and major repairs, OEM coordination, and system performance evaluation.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned industrial chillers and take technical lead on efficient operation and reliability.
• Perform routine weekly and bi-weekly monitoring of chiller operating parameters and maintain logs.
• Monitor refrigerant, oil, and coolant levels; perform leak detection.
• Troubleshoot temperature, load, oil migration, and refrigerant imbalance issues; recommend corrective actions.
• Support inspections including vibration testing, oil analysis, and refrigerant analysis.
• Provide shutdown and startup support including refrigerant evacuation, vessel work, and system charging.
• Support major repairs such as compressor and motor replacements; assist during system testing.
• Forecast major equipment repairs and contribute to long-range asset planning.
• Maintain spare parts awareness and SAP inventory accuracy.
• Assist in development of training materials and procedures for chiller operation.
