Job summary

Europastry USA is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Technician to ensure safe, reliable operation of industrial refrigeration systems. The role covers preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs to support production, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with industrial refrigeration and strong mechanical, electrical, and control systems knowledge in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in Refrigeration Systems, HVAC, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics.
• 2–3 years hands-on experience maintaining industrial refrigeration systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment failures and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of refrigeration systems and related equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair compressors, condensers, evaporators, valves, pumps, piping, controls, and related components.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, refrigerant levels, and operating parameters.
• Inspect and verify proper operation of cold rooms, freezers, refrigeration equipment, and HVAC systems.
• Identify refrigerant leaks and take corrective action per safety procedures.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities, repairs, and conditions.
• Coordinate maintenance with vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
• Support continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and energy-efficiency initiatives.
