Job Description

Norco, Inc. is currently offering a signing bonus of $1,500.00 for this position. Details of the signing bonus can be discussed during the interview. (Applies to full-time direct new hires only)

We are seeking an individual for our Combination CDL Route Delivery Driver position. Responsibilities include delivering and exchanging full cylinders and liquid vessels, delivering freight on a weekly route, and making deliveries around town using a box truck. Schedule is Monday through Friday, with home every night.

Responsibilities include:

1. Organizing delivery routes efficiently
2. Delivering liquid and gaseous oxygen
3. Driving and backing a manual transmission tractor-trailer
4. Lifting objects over 75 lbs
5. Knowledge of hazardous materials
6. Supervising vehicle upkeep
7. Completing paperwork accurately
8. Loading/unloading freight
9. Filling out gas invoices
10. Possessing or obtaining a hazmat endorsement
11. Performing warehouse duties
12. Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

1. No recent at-fault accidents or DOT violations resulting in suspension
2. Minimum CLASS B CDL with ability to obtain HAZMAT endorsement
3. Knowledge of DOT and FDA regulations related to oxygen
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally
5. Knowledge of hazardous material hauling
6. Ability to sit for extended periods (about 50%)
