Job summary

Grand Industrial in Lebanon, Indiana is seeking a hands-on Industrial Carpenter - Foreman to lead crews on industrial and commercial construction projects across Indiana. This is a working leadership role, with the foreman performing hands-on carpentry on smaller jobs and handling planning, scheduling, coordination and quality control on larger projects.

You will read blueprints, coordinate manpower and subcontractors, work with Project Managers to keep schedules, and uphold a strong safety

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
• Experience in a Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Crew Leader, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial and commercial construction crews
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture
• Perform and oversee carpentry, concrete, doors, finishes, and general construction work
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Work directly with Project Managers to keep projects on schedule
• Maintain quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Complete daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation

Grand Industrial and our Lebanon, Indiana location is seeking a hands-on Industrial Carpenter - Foreman to lead crews on industrial and commercial construction projects throughout Indiana and surrounding areas.

This is a working leadership role. On smaller projects, you will work alongside your crew performing the work. On larger projects, you will focus on planning, scheduling, coordination, quality control, and crew leadership.
