Job summary

Bengal Crane & Rigging in the Houston area is hiring experienced Industrial Carpenters to support civil construction, concrete formwork, foundations, and structural projects at industrial and commercial job sites. This hands-on role focuses on concrete forms, foundations, rebar, anchor bolts, embeds, shoring, and related civil work.

You will read drawings, complete accurate layouts, and produce quality work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

At least three years of verifiable industrial, heavy-civil, or commercial concrete carpentry experience.
Strong concrete formwork and form-setting experience.
Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, elevations, and specifications.
Experience with rebar, embeds, anchor bolts, foundations, and structural concrete.
Willingness to overtime, weekends, and extended schedules when required.

Responsibilities

Construct, set, brace, inspect, and strip wood and metal concrete forms.
Build forms for foundations, columns, walls, equipment pads, piers, and other concrete structures.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork according to project drawings and specifications.
Read blueprints, construction drawings, elevations, and layout information.
Establish lines, grades, elevations, dimensions, plumb, level, and square.
Install and position anchor bolts, embeds, reinforcing steel, tie rods, braces, and related materials.
Follow all Bengal, customer, OSHA, and job-site safety requirements.
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area.
