Job summary

Rexford Industrial Realty, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Capital Project Manager to join our construction team and drive capital projects across Southern California with values from $50,000 to $1,000,000.

The ACPM will support CPMs with daily coordination, documentation, vendor communication, contract processing, and reporting to keep projects on schedule and compliant with Rexford standards. This role offers a hybrid work model and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial, warehouse, retail, or office interior construction.
• 5-7 years of project/construction management for landlords.
• Construction accounting experience in Yardi.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/fire life safety systems and building fabric.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities with CPMs, vendors, tenants, and internal teams.
• Prepare meeting notes and action items and distribute follow-up notes.
• Process job cost forms, signatures, and documentation per company procedures.
• Monitor change orders, budget transfers, and enter approvals in Yardi.
• Review invoices for payment and ensure correct cost coding.
• Close out projects with warranties, permits, and as-builts.
