CONFIDENTIAL Kenner-area manufacturer seeks a CAD Technical Illustrator to create and maintain dimensional drawings and parts illustrations for Parts and Service Manuals. The role relies on AutoCAD 2D/3D and Creo, drawing on 3D models, photos, and factory measurements.

You will work with Engineering and Technical Publications on the shop floor to ensure accuracy. You’ll develop 2D/3D drawings, support illustrations, and help publish manuals, while maintaining organized files and meeting

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical illustration, drafting, or related fields.
• Experience creating 2D/3D drawings and parts illustrations from engineering data.
• Ability to interpret drawings, 3D models, photos, and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update dimensional drawings for the product line.
• Develop accurate 2D drawings and parts illustrations using AutoCAD.
• Create and modify complex 3D models to support drawings and illustrations.
• Gather measurements from equipment and supplement models with photos.
• Produce parts pages and service pictorials for manuals.
• Collaborate with engineers to determine dimensions and details.
• Provide illustrations to technical writers and organize files.
