Job summary

Air Energy Group is seeking a full-time drafter to support drawings for custom-designed and fabricated systems, from small pump/tank setups to a 40' container with equipment and full plumbing/electrical. Onsite in Brockton, MA with occasional work-from-home potential, collaborating with product management, engineering, and production to produce drawings, P&IDs, and BOMs.

You'll create 3D models, 2D drawings, and standardized templates, assisting with layout and as-built documentation while

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience in drafting, specifically SolidWorks
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, especially SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of mechanical products
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team setting
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with efficiency

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings of complex systems with vacuum pumps, compressors, blowers, and other industrial equipment.
• Develop a product library of common plumbing & electrical components as well as standard drawing templates.
• Develop ballooned assembly drawings with detailed parts lists.
• Develop standardized documentation to facilitate drawing additions to our website.
• Assist our engineering teams in product selection and layout through the design phase with 3D software.
• Document as-built configurations of our systems with drawing updates as a system is developed.
• Generate 3D renderings to support marketing collateral development.
