Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Bulk Loader to safely load lime products into railcars and trucks, while supporting production and customer service objectives. The role requires adherence to safety and environmental standards, accurate documentation, and effective communication with supervision and laboratory staff.

Responsibilities include weighing, documenting shipments, inspecting equipment, and maintaining housekeeping across loading areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in heavy manufacturing or industrial plant operations.
• Experience operating Shuttlewagon or Trackmobile.
• Experience operating computerized systems and completing shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load lime products safely into railcars and trucks according to procedures.
• Verify product type, destination, and loading requirements before shipment.
• Operate Shuttlewagon and other railcar-moving equipment.
• Weigh incoming/outgoing vehicles and generate shipping documents.
• Maintain cleanliness of scale house, loading areas, and platforms.
• Provide product samples for quality testing and communicate issues to supervision.
• Support production and operational activities as assigned.
