Job summary

Versova is seeking an Industrial Technician I to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and conveying processing systems. You will perform preventative maintenance, periodic testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure machines operate safely and meet specifications.

This role supports production goals by keeping equipment functional. The position requires reading SOPs, using electrical testing devices, handling overtime, and lifting 75+ lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 0-2 years of general work experience with at least 1 year of hands-on maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, electrical testing devices, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and holiday hours as required by production.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 75+lbs.
• Reading and comprehension to follow SOPs and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Sound work ethic, teamwork orientation and integrity.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform basic maintenance on industrial machinery using SOPs and manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify root causes and perform essential repairs including welding, fabricating parts, plumbing, or replacing components.
• Diagnose and conduct conveyor maintenance on schedule.
• Perform preventive maintenance on processing machines and supporting equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain basic electrical wiring and fixtures.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Troubleshoot and repair drive chains, gears, belts, pulleys, shafts, rollers, motors, and gear boxes.
• Maintain tools and keep work area clean and organized.
• Work safely to protect self and others; address unsafe conditions.
• Follow safety, biosecurity, and processing rules; report violations.
• Other duties as assigned
