Job summary

Repcon, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Boiler Maker to assemble, lay out, install and maintain pipe systems on steam, fluid, or gas systems. The role requires reading blueprints, performing assemblies, and leveraging welding and bolting skills in a hands‑on industrial setting in New Orleans, LA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of boiler making or craft discipline experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work outdoors, including at heights and in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark reference points for foundations and plates.
• Attach rigging and signal crane operator for lifts.
• Align structures for boiler frame and tank assembly using plumb, level and wedges.
• Weld, bolt, and fit components; assemble drums, headers and supports.
• Connect water tubes and headers; perform testing for leaks under pressure.
• Assist in field boiler/tank repairs and routine maintenance as required.
