Not an automotive collision repair job; candidates will prep metal components for paint and finishing, using grinders, sanders, and hand tools. Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, dent repair, filler application, and parts prep for painting.

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, and smooth fabricated metal surfaces.
• Repair dents, imperfections, and surface defects.

• Prepare parts for the paint department.
• Operate grinders, sanders, drills, and other hand and power tools.
• Inspect completed work for quality and cosmetic appearance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Industrial Body Shop Technician for a growing manufacturing company specializing in custom architectural products.

This is not an automotive collision repair position. Instead, you'll use your body shop skills to prepare fabricated metal components for paint and finishing. If you have experience with metal finishing, surface preparation, body filler, sanding, and cosmetic repairs, this is an excellent opportunity to put those skills to work in a stable manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
• Work safely around dust, noise, and manufacturing equipment
• Wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• First Shift
• Overtime opportunities available, including Saturdays as needed
