Job summary

Blue Signal Search is seeking an Industrial BIM Designer to turn complex facility requirements into coordinated, construction-ready designs. You will work across disciplines on industrial projects where constructability matters from concept through field execution, with a focus on Revit expertise and practical building knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with BIM-based design tools and drafting platforms.
• Three or more years on building-related projects.
• Associate or Technical degree in drafting, design tech, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of industrial building design and constructible detailing.
• Familiarity with regulatory design standards for facilities.
• Ability to identify issues and propose effective resolutions.
• Ability to balance priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build coordinated Revit models and drawings from layout through permit.
• Convert concepts and project requirements into architectural, civil, and structural designs.
• Coordinate across design and technical teams for consistency.
• Review layouts for life safety, accessibility, zoning compliance.
• Support project by maintaining docs and handling inquiries.
• Visit project locations to gather info and contribute to design.
• Prepare clear technical materials for project execution.
• Manage design tasks across multiple active projects.
