Job summary

H&M Company, Inc. seeks an Industrial Engineer/Designer to develop detailed 3D models of industrial equipment and coordinate multidisciplinary models for design-build projects across North America. You will work closely with clients, vendors, engineers, designers, and field teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes Revit/Navisworks modeling, equipment layouts, clearances, and construction drawings, with occasional site visits to verify conditions and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, industrial design, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in industrial design or equipment layout.
• Extensive experience using Autodesk Revit for 3D modeling and construction documents.
• Experience with Autodesk Navisworks for clash detection and model coordination.
• Experience in design-build projects is beneficial.
• Engineer-in-Training or PE licensure is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D models of industrial and process equipment using Revit.
• Coordinate utility bridges and support systems for piping, electrical, and other utilities.
• Verify equipment clearances, access, and maintenance spaces.
• Perform multidisciplinary interference reviews using Revit and Navisworks.
• Create drawings showing equipment locations, dimensions, and connections.
• Coordinate equipment and process requirements with architectural, structural, and mechanical designs.
• Provide loading, anchorage, and foundation requirements to structural engineers.
• Develop construction drawings for foundations, trenches, and access systems.
• Coordinate overhead cranes, runways, and clearance zones around equipment.
• Incorporate vendor drawings and client standards into the project model.
• Lead or participate in model-review meetings with stakeholders.
• Assist with design packages, permit documents, and field revisions.
• Respond to field questions and revise models as requirements evolve.
• Maintain accurate models in a schedule-driven environment.
