Qualifications

• Math ability: Basic arithmetic, rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Computer skills: Knowledge of Internet software.
• Certificates/licenses: Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Read work order and observe truck in operation to determine malfunction and plan procedures.
• Perform mechanical repairs after inspection and analysis.
• Write complete repair description on work order with correct model and serial number, and record hour meter reading.
• Record battery information on work order including specific gravity readings and load test results.
• Submit all paperwork to shop service coordinator daily (work orders, time cards, etc.).
