Job summary

Cambria is seeking an Automation Technician to install, configure and program PLCs and HMIs in a climate-controlled production environment. You will maintain automated systems, calibrate sensors, and develop documentation for operating procedures.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s degree in electrical engineering or automation technology and 2+ years in industrial automation. Strong problem‑solving, safety awareness and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation
• Ability to read electrical schematics, control diagrams, and manuals
• Proficient in troubleshooting automated systems and equipment
• Knowledge of safety regulations in automation systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and program PLCs and HMIs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, mills, and processing equipment.
• Calibrate and maintain sensors, actuators and control devices.
• Develop automation documentation including schematics and procedures.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Provide technical support and training to operations personnel.
