Qualifications

• 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical, instrumentation and controls.
• Associates degree in PLC, industrial electrical, electromechanical, automation, or similar field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment in Electric Arc Furnace, Ladle Metallurgical Furnace, Continuous Caster, and other support equipment.
• Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot instrumentation, controls and electrical systems (480VAC/120VAC/24VDC).
• Perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance per procedures.
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose failures; document tasks and develop PM plans.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations and automation staff to solve problems.
• Work in various mill areas with risk of confined spaces, high voltage and molten metal nearby.
