Job summary

Standard Bots is seeking a Technician on the Implementation team to assemble and wire robotic cells in our shop, then travel to customer sites to support installations with Automation Engineers. You will perform on-site commissioning, diagnose issues, and document as-built changes.

This role requires hands-on electrical/mechanical assembly, reading schematics and BOMs, and a proactive, safety-centered mindset. Travel up to 25–50% is expected for installations.

Qualifications

• Experience reading wiring schematics and BOMs.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial installation.
• Willingness to travel for customer site installations (roughly 25–50%).

Responsibilities

• Assemble robotic cells from drawings and BOMs, including frame assembly and component installation.
• Wire electrical panels and field devices per schematics and NEC standards.
• Route cables and pneumatic lines to drawing specs; perform pre-ship checks.
