Qualifications

• Strong understanding of control theory and industrial automation basics.
• 2+ years in an industrial controls, automation, or related engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with machinery-integrated control systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, programming, troubleshooting, and upgrades on Level II automation systems.
• Design and implement software solutions that support and optimize industrial manufacturing processes.
• Develop and enhance applications using modern programming frameworks.
• Analyze production challenges and implement innovative automation or optimization solutions.
• Support integration across multiple layers of the Purdue Enterprise Reference Architecture (control through enterprise systems).
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and best practices.
