Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking an Application Engineer to lead proposal and estimate development for industrial automation projects across Consumer Products, Food & Beverage, Life Sciences and Material Handling. You will collaborate with engineering, business development and project teams to ensure accurate, timely estimates and compelling proposals.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFPs, studying drawings, and computing costs while maintaining data integrity and supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of Industrial Automation experience in design, controls and electrical engineering.
• Experience with estimating standards and proposal management processes.
• Advanced Excel / spreadsheet skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from RFPs, drawings, and specs.
• Meet with customers to review scope and requirements.
• Develop cost estimates including labor, materials, and travel.
• Create and present proposals using templates.
• Maintain cost databases and support continuous improvement.
