Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking an experienced technician to diagnose and repair industrial control systems. You will apply mechanical and electrical expertise to keep PLC-driven equipment running, interpret schematics, and perform routine maintenance on automation hardware in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, drive systems, and building automation. Strong documentation habits and teamwork with maintenance and engineering are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in maintaining industrial control systems.
• Strong grasp of mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Fanuc.
• Experience with building automation and HVAC technologies.
• Ability to read and analyze technical documentation and electrical schematics.
• Detail-oriented with proactive problem solving.
• Familiarity with CMMS and 5S methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve issues in industrial control hardware (PLCs, HMIs, drives).
• Perform scheduled maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to improve system efficiency.
• Maintain precise documentation to meet safety standards.
• Use tools to locate electrical faults (oscilloscopes, voltmeters).
• Assist with fabrication, welding, and mechanical repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors for upgrades and floor layouts.
