Job summary

Highline-Warren is seeking an Industrial Automation Technician to lead design, programming, installation, maintenance and continual improvements of plant manufacturing equipment. You will collaborate with Engineering, IT and Operations to ensure system integrity, safety, and data integration.

The role involves programming PLCs, wiring electrical systems up to 480V, and supporting FATs and project execution with a focus on cost reduction and reliability.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Understand mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and interpret related engineering drawings.
• Operate a computer and demonstrate PC proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Lead and inspire team members; must be able to relate to and build team working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant manufacturing equipment.
• Program/Troubleshoot PLCs and equipment handshakes via direct or WAN/LAN connections.
• Interact with IT to ensure manufacturing equipment interfaces with corporate data systems.
• Participate in FAT, assembly, installation, and set-up activities to ensure conformity to specifications.
