Job summary

Highline Aftermarket seeks an Industrial Automation Technician to design, program, install, and maintain plant automation across the facility. You’ll collaborate with Mechanical Engineers and Project Managers on equipment upgrades and control solutions.

The role involves programming PLCs, troubleshooting electrical and control systems, and ensuring IT interfaces with corporate networks. Expect FAT participation, project support, and driving continuous improvement in costs and productivity.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Automation certification required or 7+ years experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Experience programming and maintaining PLC-based automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plant manufacturing equipment.
• Program/Troubleshoot PLCs and control systems; interface with IT systems.
• Lead or support engineering projects, including FATs and commissioning.
• Estimate engineering time, materials, and resources for projects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Project Managers.
