Job summary

Gap Inc is seeking a Maintenance/Improvements Specialist for its distribution centers. You will drive a continuous improvement culture, maximize capabilities, and implement and maintain material handling equipment and related infrastructure.

You will identify and troubleshoot flow issues, build cross-functional relationships, and perform routine repairs with shop equipment while maintaining 3-phase electrical systems and predictive maintenance to sustain site reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of MHE and automation in a distribution center environment.
• Ability to work, plan, and prioritize independently and in a cross functional team.
• Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills inclusive of exercising good judgement.
• Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Learn and apply working knowledge of related work area processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform associated maintenance tasks on 3 phase electrical systems under 600 volts; critical preventative and predictive maintenance, drive unit and component rebuilds.

About the Role
