Job summary

North Central Missouri College in Missouri seeks an Industrial Automation Instructor to facilitate training and provide instruction for Industrial Technology courses with a focus on automation, while also teaching courses with maintenance and mechanics as needed.

The role includes developing curricula, recruiting students through area partnerships, and delivering engaging instruction. A degree in automation or related field and industrial experience are preferred; teaching experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Degree in automation, industrial technology, or related field preferred.
• Significant experience in an industrial setting related to automation.
• Teaching or training experience is preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver short-term training solutions for the department.
• Recruit students through partnerships with area career centers.
• Teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester at various times/locations.
• Collaborate with adjunct faculty and dual credit instructors as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of subject matter and teaching methods.
