Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer in the United States to install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot Delta equipment across North America. You will diagnose electrical and control issues, read schematics, and provide on-site support to customers.

The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent, plus 4+ years in manufacturing, data centers, or field service. Travel up to 80% and occasional evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, data center, or field service preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and manuals.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work evenings/weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings with sales, PM, and clients.
• Install, commission, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot Delta equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and machine-control issues.
• Provide on-site technical support and customer solutions.
• Train customers on machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Document service activities and actions taken.
• Coordinate with PM and field engineers to resolve field issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
