Job summary

The Electrical and Automation Engineer ensures reliable operation of electrical and control systems across the factory. You will lead maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs, drives, HMIs, and SCADA, and drive continuous improvement to production performance, quality, and energy efficiency.

You will update drawings and documentation, ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and safety standards, and collaborate with process engineers to implement automation projects, upgrades, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems, drives, and control panels.
• Proficient with PLCs and SCADA, with fault diagnosis.
• Knowledge of food manufacturing safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose faults in motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Update electrical drawings and documentation.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
• Lead automation projects and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety and food regulations.
• Collaborate with process engineers and operators.
